The myFavorites program we are offering is
indeed a prototype of a tree-like database
administrator. Currently, the program works
only with XML-files, but it can be upgraded
to administer remote tree-structured databases
(for example, a database of goods, foods, cooking
recipes, news articles, etc.).
Being an HTML application, indeed
a web-page, such database administration tool
will have a very small size. Thus, it can be
quickly launched from a remote server over the
Internet. This small and easy-to-use database
administrator will have an intuitive interface,
providing the following features:
- Easy tree navigation
- Drag and drop functionality
- Familiar, Explorer-like appearance
- Several data viewing modes
- Search and filtering functionalities

What will be the main features of the database administrator?
- Integration with a remote relational database.
- Easy adjustment to the database structure and

How can the database administration tool
be adjusted to suit my needs?
The following add-ons and improvements can

- Immediate search and replacement of record
fields according to the specified criteria
- in the whole database, in the specified
branch or selection.
- Fast database update from a spreadsheet
through an XML file.
- Data caching on your computer, hence
the lower database response time
- Data synchronization in different databases
(for example, local database and remote
database).
- Search for differences in different databases.
- Local backing up of a remote database
or any its branch with the opportunity to
view the local version.
